Questions
Questions people often ask
Is what I say confidential?
Yes. What you share in our sessions stays between us. There are rare limits, for example where there is a serious risk to your safety or someone else, and I would always talk these through with you. As a BACP accredited therapist I work to their ethical framework.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no set number. Some people come for a few weeks around one thing. Others stay longer and go deeper. We talk about what would help you, and we review it together as we go. You are never tied in.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or move a session, please give me 48 hours notice. With less than 48 hours notice the full fee applies, as the time is held for you. Life happens, so if something urgent comes up, do let me know.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. We can meet online by video if that is easier for you, or you prefer it. Online sessions are the same length and the same fee as meeting in person.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You do not have to be sure. The free 20 minute introduction call is there so you can see how it feels to talk to me, with no pressure to book anything.
How do I get started?
Send me a message through the contact page, or call me on 0117 946 0221. We will find a time for your free introduction call, and take it from there.
Still have a question?
The free call is the easiest way to ask. Book one whenever you are ready, or send me a message.
